St. Lucia Day Tour Stops Itinerary

• Your day tour will begin by one of the Islander tour guides picking you up from the Cruise Port Shops or from your hotel. Your friendly tour guide will be holding a big Islander sign if you are being picked up from the Cruise Port Shops.

• You will then be driven through the heart of St.Lucia and be shown some of the historic and unforgettable local attractions. Some of these sightseeing attractions include Derek Walcott Square, The Massavâ tree, and The Central Library.

• You will then be taken to Morne Fortune to enjoy the sensational view of the northern part of the island which includes the port and surrounding areas. You will also get the opportunity to have a look at the century old Governor House, the residence of the Governor General.

• Your next stop will be a sightseeing trip to the delightful Marigot Bay, which is most famous for being the site where the movie Dr.Doolittle was filmed. You will be in awe of the beautiful palm trees and lush green forests. Â

• The tour guide will then take you for a leisurely drive through a local native banana plantation. You can try out the delicious St.Lucia bananas which are tastier than a traditional banana.

• Things just keep getting better as we take you for a visit of Soufriere. Soufriere is a reasonably large town, and we will be taking a look at the serene Toraille Waterfall, and also enjoying the glamorous scent of the Botancial Gardens. If you would like to take a cool swim the Torialle Waterfall is a perfect way to unwind and relax. At the Botantical Gardens you will be able to make the most of nature with an abundance of unforgettable lush vegetation, old fashioned bridges, interesting nature trails and picturesque walkways. Just to complete your day in paradise you can join the groups of people that are birdwatching and enjoying the sightseeing attractions. 

• We then head off to the only drive-in volcano in the entire world, taking you to explore the spooky Sulphur Springs. Â The seven acre crater is a bit strong on the nose, with more than 20 noisy pools of hot muddy water. The muddy pools are mixed with a variety of other minerals and chemicals baked and steamed on the surface. This is a once in a lifetime experience and makes this day tour unique to any other place on the planet.

• The next sightseeing attraction is viewing the awesome Piton Mountains, especially Petit Piton (2,461 feet) and Gross Piton (2,461 feet). The Pitons are the most famous and popular landmarks in St.Lucia and are situated in the south of the island. There is a lot of history associated with the Pitons, especially as they were thought of as sacred to the Amerinidians the islands first natives. Make sure you bring your camera to capture the picturesque landscape.
